Locations
We use many locations around Scotland. However, we predominately use Kirrie Hill in Kirriemuir or the Pass of Ballater just outside Ballater.
Kirriemuir is suitable for ages 8+. Kirrie Hill is a beautiful sandstone crag set in an abandoned quarry in the heart of Kirriemuir, its climbs are up to 12 metres in height and offer a perfect place to get to grips with the vertical world.
Pass of Ballater is suitable for ages 12+. The pass has a truly alpine feel, set on the side of the cliff immersed in pine trees and stunning Deeside scenery, it offers a slightly more exposed feel and due to the features of the Pass, we can offer a real climbing experience complete with an abseil to get us back down. A stunning day out.

What about kit?
So if you fancy getting out for a Climb, we have everything you need! Ropes, protective equipment, harness, and helmets.
Our Climbing instructors always carry a first aid kit in a bag, so if you need to take medication with you, this is no problem.
The only thing you will need is loose fitting trousers, secure footwear, water, and maybe some sunscreen!
